Getting a PhD in the social sciences is like solving a 100-piece jigsaw puzzle:

During undergrad we’re exposed to 1,000 pieces

And in grad school we spend years narrowing it down to 100

Once acquired we carefully group, rotate, and lock our precious pieces together

…with dreams of solving future puzzles in this game called academia
